Tips for Making the Best Brownie Bliss Balls:

  • Food Processor or Blender

    • The recipe calls for a food processor to combine the ingredients. However, if you don’t have a food processor, a blender could work, though you’ll need to stop the blender frequently to scrap down the sizes. The lack of liquid in this recipe can make it challenging to get a smooth texture in the blender, as the ingredients will stick to the sides and blade.

  • Cacao vs Cocoa Powder

    • The recipe uses pure cacao powder, but you can substitute pure cocoa powder in a 1:1 ratio if that’s what you have on hand or prefer.

  • Pulsing vs. Blending

    • For the best results, it’s recommended to pulse the ingredients in the food processor, rather than blending continuously. Pulsing the mixture in longer intervals will require less work, as you won’t need to stop as often to scrape down the sides.

  • Adjusting Brownie Bliss Ball Size

    • The recipe suggests rolling the mixture into approximately 1 Tbsp sized balls, but you can adjust the size to your personal preference.

  • Chilling (Optional)

    • The recipe mentions to chilling the brownie bliss balls before serving. This is highly recommended, as chilling will harden the bites and give them a more fudge-like, chewy texture.

    • Adjust the chilling time to achieve your desired texture.

  • Proper Storage

    • To store the homemade brownie bliss balls:

      • Refrigerator: Keep in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

      • Freezer: Store in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag for up to 1 month.
